Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a street sweeper driver to work in the street cleansing department. Duties include litter patrol, litter picking, bin delivery, and refuse loading of collection vehicles. The role requires physical fitness and working in all weather, with up to 15 miles of walking daily.

Hours are 37 per week, Monday to Thursday 7.00 to 15.00 and Friday 7.00 to 14.30, with potential work on public holidays. A manual gearbox licence will be needed for operation of sweepers.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.
• Capable of walking up to 15 miles per day.
• Able to drive a manual gearbox vehicle.
• Minimum one reference from current or most recent employer.

Must be physically fit and work in all weathers as the job may involve walking up to 15 miles per day.

Working on Public holidays may be required and driving a manual gearbox vehicle.

37 hours per week Monday to Thursday 7.00 am to 15.00 pm and Friday 7.00 am - 14.30pm
