Job summary

Navy Command seeks a Strategy and Planning Group Lead at HMNB Devonport to shape priorities, resolve competing demands and support governance for the Submarine Directorate. You will translate complex information into clear plans, coordinating stakeholders and senior decisions in a high-profile defence setting.

The role requires experience in analysis, planning and governance, plus strong stakeholder engagement and communication.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing complex information, data, risks and requirements to identify trends and solutions.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills across a busy portfolio.
• Experience engaging with a range of stakeholders.
• Clear, confident communication including drafting proposals and presenting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse portfolio data to identify strategic issues, trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop practical solutions with stakeholders for planning and decision-making.
• Maintain key strategic artefacts with a single version of the truth.
• Manage and maintain planning products.
• Draft proposals and options papers for senior decisions.
• Communicate executive decisions and direction to stakeholders.
