Qualifications

• 3-6 years in an analytical or strategy-focused role (e.g. strategy consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, investment banking).
• Strong Excel modelling and PowerPoint; ability to build executive-level presentations and data visualisations.
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills with ability to distill findings for senior stakeholders.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills for senior audiences.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Fast learner, adaptable to changing priorities, and self-starter with high agency.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate research and drafting with sound judgment.

Job Description

You will play a key role in the work that directly informs Unit4's long-term strategy, collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams across the organisation.

You’ll engage with both internal and external stakeholders, contribute to high-profile projects, and support decision-making at the highest level.

The right candidate is a strategic thinker who brings strong analytical rigour, a point of view, and the ability to operate independently on complex workstreams in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Analysis & Output: Own defined analytical and research workstreams; structure findings, pressure-test logic, and translate analysis into clear recommendations and Board-ready materials;deliver with a clear point of view and limited oversight; support the preparation of other strategy and communications materials as required
• Strategic Portfolio Monitoring: Track progress against the company's strategic priorities; synthesise performance data into clear reporting for senior audiences; support the annual company-wide objective-setting process and quarterly performance reporting
• Competitive & Market Intelligence: Maintain a standing view of industry, competitive, and regulatory dynamics across Unit4's markets and develop a point of view on implications for Unit4
• Office of the CEO support:Contribute to broader Office of the CEO workstreams and priorities as required

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 - 6 years in an analytical or strategy-focused role (such as strategy consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, investment banking or similar); candidates with technology/software experience preferred; experience in a PE-backed or adjacent environment preferred
• Excel & PowerPoint skills: Strong Excel modelling, with ability to define and execute key analyses with minimal supervision. Financial and commercial modelling capability preferred (e.g. market sizing, business case development and related analytical methods).Proficient in PowerPoint; experience building executive-level presentations and data visualisations preferred
• Analytical skills: Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with a proven ability to conduct financial and strategic analysis and distilfindings into actionable insights for senior stakeholders
• Communication skills: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner; able to present findings clearly to senior audiences
• Project management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Teamwork & collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, build stakeholder relationships and manage inputs from multiple parties
• Results orientation: Results-driven and detail-oriented, with a track record of delivering high-quality work products on time
• Adaptability: Fast learner; able to thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibilityin response to changing priorities and circumstances
• Motivation: Curious, goal-oriented, high-agency self-starter; takes initiative and drives towards outcomes
• AI fluency: Demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate research, conduct analysis, draft documents, and sense-check outputs - with sound judgement on when and how to apply them
