We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a Strategy Manager who’s ready to shape the future, both for our clients and for Bamboo Nine itself.

The Opportunity

As Strategy Manager, you’ll report directly to our Head of Strategy and take the lead in crafting, refining, and optimising marketing strategies for a wide range of clients. You’ll have a genuine voice in shaping our agency’s direction, collaborating closely with senior leadership, and seeing your ideas come to life.

This role is perfect for someone who loves diving into the data, turning insight into action, thrives on variety, and wants to work in a fast-moving agency environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be responsible for creating data-driven, insight-led strategies that deliver measurable success. Your work will include:

Client & Market Insight

  • Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to understand business challenges and opportunities
  • Research client markets, audiences, and competitors to uncover insights that inform strategy
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations

Strategy Development

  • Set clear client objectives and KPIs
  • Build cross-channel marketing strategies spanning PPC, SEO, Social Media, Website and Brand activity
  • Ensure strategies align with both immediate business goals and long-term growth ambitions

Campaign Planning & Optimisation

  • Develop actionable marketing plans that teams can deliver against
  • Review, adapt, and optimise strategies based on performance data
  • Report back to clients with clear insights and recommendations

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure strategic alignment across all channels
  • Act as a strategic partner to both clients and colleagues, driving measurable impact

About You

We’re looking for someone who’s as comfortable in the numbers as they are in a client quarterly review. Analytical, commercially minded, and a strong communicator.

Must Have Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years in a strategic role within a digital agency environment
  • Strong understanding of PPC, SEO, Social Media, and Brand marketing
  • Proven track record of building strategies that deliver measurable results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can craft a compelling narrative and present it with confidence
  • Proficiency in marketing and analytics tools such as Looker Studio, Google Analytics, SEO platforms, and social listening tools
  • Ability to translate data into engaging, actionable insights

Nice to Have

  • Experience across multiple industries and markets
  • Workshop facilitation or stakeholder engagement experience
  • Familiarity with creative concept development
