Strategy & GTM Lead | Cross-Border Payments | London
Our client is a fast-scaling global money movement platform, bringing international payments and embedded finance together into a single connection for businesses operating across borders. They're entering their next phase of growth, and this hire sits at the centre of it.
What you'll do:
- Own the commercial strategy: target segments, verticals, ICPs and competitive positioning
- Codify where the business wins today, backed by win rates, sales cycles and productivity data
- Size and test where it can win next, with clear hypotheses and the discipline to scale or stop
- Build the commercial scorecard that links strategy to pipeline to revenue
- Turn strategy into GTM playbooks with guardrails that keep sellers focused on the right deals
- Run a certification path so no seller carries a number until they're ready
- Own the sales asset library and the AI/agent tooling that drafts it, so sellers spend their time selling
- Measure what matters: adoption, win rate and productivity per head, not just what gets shipped
What you'll bring:
- A proven record in commercial strategy, GTM or sales enablement in B2B, ideally payments or fintech
- The analytical rigour to size markets and build the evidence behind a bet
- Proof that your playbooks and certification measurably lifted seller performance
- Credibility with a sales floor and the presence to hold your ground with senior stakeholders
- Strong CRM fluency (HubSpot ideally) and a firm grasp of pipeline and deal-stage logic
- An agent-first mindset, comfortable embedding AI into a commercial team
- Experience leading change at pace in a high-growth or scaling environment, and building or mentoring a team as the function grows
- Bonus points for a background in strategy consulting, commercial finance or revenue analytics, or a knack for producing sharp sales content.
Why it matters:
You'll be the person who sets the standard for an entire revenue organisation. You'll be shaping the three-year commercial story and then getting hands-on to make it land.
