Job summary

Freshminds in London is seeking Consultants, Senior Consultants and Managers to join a team of strategy consultants on interim contracts, supporting due diligence, strategy design and program coordination across aerospace & defence initiatives.

You will report to executive stakeholders, prepare materials and insight packs for strategic meetings, and help enable informed decision‑making in fast‑paced environments. Start ASAP; 3–6 week rolling contracts; day rate £800–£1,300 PAYE.

Qualifications

• MBB/Tier-1 strategy experience is required.
• Demonstrable experience in aerospace and/or defence is essential.
• Strong background in strategy, program design, transformation or coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support strategy development and program design across initiatives.
• Coordinate workstreams with alignment, progress and communication.
• Create high-quality documents and insight packs for executive meetings.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to shape program direction.
• Perform analyses to inform decisions and governance.

A client in a tier 1 consultancy working on various industries is seeking Consultants, Senior Consultants and Managers to join the team on an interim contract. You will join a team of strategy consultants to support various due diligence pieces, strategies, design and program coordination across a range of key programs.

You will report to executive stakeholders internally and externally, preparing materials and insight reports to support strategic meetings and enable informed decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Support strategy development, program planning and design across complex aerospace & defence initiatives
• Coordinate workstreams, ensuring alignment, progress monitoring and effective communication
• Develop high‑quality documentation, presentations and insight packs for executive‑level meetings
• Engage with senior stakeholders to shape program direction and address delivery challenges
• Conduct analysis to inform decision‑making and support program governance
• Depending on level, lead work packages, manage junior team members or oversee multiple workstreams

Requirements

• MBB background / Tier-1 Strategy experience is a must
• Demonstrable experience in the aerospace and/or defence sector is essential
• Strong experience in strategy, program design, transformation or program coordination
• Ability to work credibly with executive‑level stakeholders in fast‑paced environments
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
• Active SC Clearance is helpful
• For senior levels: demonstrated leadership and delivery ownership across complex programs
