Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Youth Development Program Manager to design and lead youth programs, build partnerships with schools and businesses, and manage staff and volunteers. The role focuses on empowering youth through education, skills development, and mentorship within a hybrid setting.

Ideal candidates will have a Master’s in a relevant field and 5+ years of non-profit program leadership, with strong budgeting, grant writing, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Youth Development, Social Sciences, Education, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in youth program management, development, or coordination in the non-profit sector.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate impactful youth programs.
• Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in fundraising, grant writing, and budget management.
• Demonstrated success in building partnerships with external organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic youth development programs and initiatives.
• Oversee program delivery, ensuring high quality and achievement of desired outcomes.
• Manage program budgets, resources, and operational logistics.
• Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, mentors, and volunteers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, schools, and corporate partners.
• Develop and deliver engaging workshops, training sessions, and mentorship activities for youth.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, collecting data and preparing reports for stakeholders.
• Identify and secure funding opportunities through grant writing and donor engagement.
• Ensure programs are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and responsive to diverse youth populations.
• Represent Our client at community events and networking opportunities.
