Job summary

Cafcass is seeking a Strategic Workforce Planning Manager to design and lead the organisation's workforce forecasting and establishment oversight. You will collaborate with HR, Finance and analytics to align resourcing with priorities and to drive data-informed decisions.

The role stresses governance, tool digitalisation and cross-functional delivery, reporting to the Head of Resourcing. Flexible location with regular travel across England.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience of strategic workforce planning and building a planning approach from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of supply, demand, establishment controls and forecasting.
• Experience advising senior stakeholders with credible insight and practical recommendations.
• Proficient in HR systems and management information.

Responsibilities

• Lead organisation-wide workforce forecasting and planning approaches that respond to current and future needs.
• Develop establishment oversight, vacancy approval processes, controls and governance.
• Work with HR, Finance and Analytics to produce workforce data and reporting.
• Digitalise and improve workforce planning tools and reporting for better decision-making.
• Partner with Resourcing and Organisational Development to align people interventions.
