Job summary

CORNWALL PARTNERSHIP NHS FOUNDATION TRUST is seeking a senior leader to head workforce and financial planning, intelligence and analytics. You will translate complex data into actionable insights for the Board, Executive Team and senior leaders, shaping strategic decisions and service improvement across the Trust.

The role involves developing integrated planning frameworks, reporting systems and analytical solutions, and deputising for the Deputy Chief Finance Officer as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Trust's workforce and financial planning, intelligence and analytical functions, ensuring high-quality information supports strategic and operational decision-making.
• Develop and deliver integrated workforce and financial planning frameworks, models and reporting systems that support organisational priorities and long-term sustainability.
• Provide expert analysis, insight and interpretation of complex data to the Board, Executive Team and senior leaders across the Trust.
• Lead the development of innovative intelligence, reporting and analytical solutions, ensuring information is accessible, accurate and actionable.
• Identify, assess and monitor workforce and financial risks, supporting services to develop effective mitigation and recovery plans where required.
• Drive continuous improvement through benchmarking, forecasting and the use of intelligence to support service transformation and performance improvement.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Workforce & Finance Intelligence team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous learning.
• Deputise for the Deputy Chief Finance Officer as required and represent the Trust at key internal, regional and external meetings, partnerships and forums.
