Michael Page is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Director for a West Sussex-based role that covers multi-warehouse operations. You will lead day-to-day activities from goods-in to dispatch and drive efficiency across sites.

You will manage people, implement improvements to systems and processes, and maintain stock accuracy while ensuring health and safety compliance and strong reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing warehouse operations, ideally across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of goods-in, stock control, picking, packing, dispatch and inventory management.
• Experience implementing or improving barcode scanning, WMS, ERP or stock management systems.
• Confident people manager with experience leading, training and developing warehouse teams.
• Strong process improvement mindset with the ability to identify errors and implement corrective actions.
• Good understanding of warehouse KPIs, reporting, stock accuracy and productivity measures.
• Commercial awareness of how warehouse performance affects cost, accuracy, delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads across multiple areas and deadlines.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy, compliance and customer service.
• Good working knowledge of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
• Hands-on, practical and solutions-focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Manage the day-to-day operation of all warehouse areas, including goods-in, stock put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch, returns and stock movements.
• Take ownership of performance across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring consistent processes and clear standards.
• Lead, manage and develop warehouse staff, including workload planning, training and day-to-day supervision.
• Work with internal stakeholders to improve warehouse system functionality and reporting.
• Drive improvements in layout, workflow, space utilisation and stock organisation.
• Reduce errors by introducing procedures, controls and training.
• Maintain accurate stock records through cycle counts and investigations.
• Monitor KPIs including stock accuracy, order accuracy and dispatch performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Support projects relating to ERP/WMS functionality and process automation.
• Collaborate with senior management to support customer service and wider business objectives.
