Enhance Academy Trust seeks a Trust Business Manager to lead financial planning and governance across a group of schools. You will work with Headteachers and senior leaders to maximise value for money and ensure compliance with ESFA guidelines.

The role covers budgeting, reporting, income generation, HR/payroll, procurement, and safeguarding, with oversight of capital projects and cash flow. Excellent communication and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• To provide high quality strategic financial planning to ensure that the academy makes best possible use of resources and is able to provide the best outcomes for pupils.
• To maintain and monitor the efficient management of a group of school’s budget with Integrated Curriculum Financial Planning, along with maintaining an overview of administration management, HR, personnel, premises, and Health and Safety matters.
• To ensure financial reporting is effective and compliant with ESFA’s Academies Handbook and Trust Policies.

Responsabilités

• Monitor accounting procedures, identify risk, and resolve problems (ordering, processing and payment of goods and services).
• Prepare monthly management accounts and oversee three-year and five-year financial plans.
• Liaise with funding agencies and identify funding opportunities to ensure income generation.
