Project Centre, an award-winning consultancy in transport design, highways and related disciplines, is seeking an ambitious Transport Planning & Development Technical Director to lead and grow our TP&D teams in the UK. This role blends technical excellence with commercial acumen and strategic vision to drive business growth and deliver high-quality client solutions.

You will manage commissions from inception to completion, provide technical direction, work across urban design, highways, drainage

Qualifikationen

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or membership of a professional institution.
• Significant experience in transport planning and development across built environment, infrastructure and regeneration sectors.

Aufgaben

• Manage transport planning commissions from inception to completion, delivering sustainable, inclusive and practical design solutions.
• Provide hands-on design input and technical direction, reviewing drawings, specifications, reports and contract documentation to ensure exceptional standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues across urban design, highways, drainage, transport, ecology, arboriculture, lighting and other engineering disciplines.
• Oversee project scope, fees, budgets, programmes, resources, risks and change to ensure successful and profitable delivery.
• Allocate workload to team members, supporting professional development and performance.
• Provide expert advice and build trusted relationships with clients, local authorities, communities and delivery partners.
