Job summary

Capita, in collaboration with the Army’s OMNIA Training consortium, seeks a Collective Training Needs Analyst to shape training requirements across the Army. The hybrid role (Warminster) combines data analysis, dashboards and reporting to support readiness from platoon to corps.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business analysis and developing practical solutions to meet complex requirements.
• Knowledge of the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) or similar training design frameworks.
• Experience applying JSP 822, ADDIE, or equivalent training methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex information into clear outputs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and training management systems such as DTMS or JTIMS.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders.
• Confident presenting training requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyse training, safety and operational data to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Collect, validate and maintain data from multiple sources for reporting.
• Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations to support senior decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and better reporting.
• Translate stakeholder needs into meaningful analytical outputs.
• Provide guidance on analytics tools and data-driven decision making.
• Mentor colleagues and promote high standards of analytical quality.
• Present findings clearly through reports and briefings while ensuring data security.
