Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead technology category strategies within the Corporate Services function. You will own major sourcing activities, design supplier frameworks, and partner with senior technology stakeholders to deliver value and governance.

You will manage a team of procurement managers onshore and offshore, drive cost savings, and balance risk with responsible procurement practices, including cybersecurity and ethics in sourcing.

Qualifications

• Extensive technology procurement experience.
• Experience delivering category strategies and major sourcing activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Experience with supplier performance frameworks and ESG alignment.
• Ability to lead negotiations and complex procurement programs.
• Familiarity with eSourcing, CLM, and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead category strategy development across Software, Infrastructure, Cyber, Retail Tech, Telecoms, or Data/AI.
• Act as primary commercial partner to senior technology stakeholders.
• Manage a team of procurement managers onshore & offshore.
• Deliver cost optimisations and total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements.
• Drive supplier relationships, performance reviews, and contractual escalations.
• Ensure cybersecurity, privacy, and ethical sourcing requirements are met.
