Job summary

QTS Realty Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a Communications Manager to lead external communications, enhance the brand, and engage local communities and media. You will partner with marketing operations, public policy, development teams, and agencies to deliver consistent messaging.

This in-house role focuses on proactive storytelling, go-to-community initiatives, and monitoring industry trends, with responsibilities spanning press materials, website content, and stakeholder outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in communications, public relations, or community engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including AP style.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data-driven communications strategies aligned with overall goals.
• Create and manage communications content across channels, including press releases and media materials.
• Support proactive narratives and go-to-community stories across European markets.
• Execute communications plans for community initiatives and data centre launches in Europe.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
• Support media relations activities and proactive outreach.
• Monitor industry news, community sentiment, and competitive activity.
• Track and report on communications metrics and engagement.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, including media contacts and community leaders.
• Attend events and develop materials highlighting milestones and initiatives.
