Job summary

EY's Management Taxes and Transactions team in London, Manchester, Glasgow or Edinburgh is seeking a motivated professional to build client relationships and win new business while delivering technically complex consulting projects.

You will coach junior team members, contribute to people initiatives and help grow the practice by applying strong tax and commercial acumen across AIM listed, PE-backed and family-owned clients. Regular travel may be required.

Qualifications

• ACA / CTA / Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification / or breadth of knowledge equivalent to a Tax specialist qualification
• Strong tax technical skills
• Business development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work
• Experience of coaching and developing more junior staff

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients
• Proactive business development to win new work
• Management of the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects for their clients, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business driven approach taken
• Provision of development support to junior members of the team through effective supervision, coaching and mentoring
• Contribution to people initiatives, including retaining and training our team
