Job summary

West Midlands Combined Authority is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the operational delivery of recruitment across WMCA, shaping an inclusive, insight-led service that supports workforce planning and positions WMCA as an employer of choice.

You’ll lead the TA team, work with senior stakeholders, build pipelines, monitor performance metrics and ensure compliant recruitment across permanent, temporary and contingent roles.

Qualifications

• Translate recruitment strategy into action plans meeting business objectives.
• Lead Talent Acquisition team with delivery, performance and service standards.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and recruiting managers.
• Develop diverse talent pipelines and inclusive attraction strategies.
• Ensure compliant recruitment across permanent, temporary and contingent roles.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and use data to drive improvements.
• Manage recruitment expenditure and governance while leveraging tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment delivery across WMCA.
• Provide advice on delivery, labour market information and resourcing options.
• Support hiring managers to recruit to high standards and ensure a first-class candidate experience.
