Job summary

Survitec Group Limited is seeking a Supply Planner in Dunmurry to manage ERP planning parameters and drive on-time delivery. The role focuses on safety stock, reorder points and lead times to generate actionable signals for buyers and optimise material availability.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will use NAV or equivalent ERP, Power BI and Excel to inform planning decisions, monitor stock health, and support continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• University degree level education or related equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a supply planning, inventory planning, or purchasing role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV or equivalent); NAV experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working with data in Power BI and/or Excel to drive planning decisions.
• 2–3 years of general experience enables the role holder to deal with most situations and advise others.

Responsibilities

• Maintains own safety stock quantity and reorder point settings with correct item buffers.
• Monitors and resets reorder points on a rolling basis using lead-time demand (average daily usage × lead time).
• Uses ERP planning outputs to ensure sensible supply signals and adjusts as needed.
• Runs daily and weekly exception reporting and passes actions to buyers.
• Identifies and mitigates demand/supply risks.
• Monitors inventory health states against Days Cover thresholds.
• Participates in continuous improvements and innovates processes.
• Resolves queries from customers or suppliers regarding policies.
