Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Solihull is seeking a Planning & Delivery Leader to manage supplier delivery and material availability in a hybrid role (3 days in office). You will translate demand into delivery priorities, monitor progress and drive arrears recovery to meet operational needs.

You will use SAP extensively, maintain accurate planning data, and work with Procurement, Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing to remove blockers while keeping stakeholders informed of recovery progress and business

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a numerate or business discipline, or 3+ years of equivalent experience in purchasing/planning/supply chain.
• Membership of APICS CPIM or similar would be desirable.
• Experience in supply chain planning, production planning, supplier management, or delivery management in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of S&OP, demand planning, forecasting and inventory management; proficient in Excel and ERP systems (SAP MRP).

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier delivery and arrears recovery to support operations and customers.
• Maintain SAP planning data, review MRP messages, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Identify shortages, prioritize recovery, and expeditate or transfer stock as needed.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and Logistics to resolve blockers.
• Provide clear updates on shortages, commitments and recovery progress.
