Rolls-Royce plc is seeking a Supplier Support Manager in Derby/Hybrid with frequent travel to lead recovery efforts at supplier sites. You will rapidly assess constraints, set recovery plans, and work with supplier leadership to restore delivery performance.

Lead improvement initiatives using Lean tools, coordinate across multiple functions, and establish robust processes that endure beyond the intervention. An ideal candidate thrives in high-pressure environments and travels as needed.

• Experience in operations/manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to improve operational performance.
• Strong problem-solving with Lean tools.
• Led significant improvement/recovery/transformation projects.
• Excellent planning, control and programme management.
• Able to interpret data and translate to action.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Confident with senior supplier and internal leaders.
• Collaborative yet able to challenge when needed.
• Ability to build trust in high-pressure settings.
• Willingness to travel extensively; engineering/SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy into suppliers with operational, capacity, quality or delivery challenges.
• Rapidly assess situation and identify underlying constraints to delivery.
• Establish recovery plans, priorities, governance and performance measures.
• Work with supplier leadership and operational teams to drive recovery activities.
• Apply Lean methodologies to remove constraints and improve performance.
• Challenge existing processes contributing to poor performance.
• Drive improvements across Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).
• Coordinate across Supplier Management, Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality.
• Ensure risks are understood and mitigated with robust plans.
• Build strong relationships at all levels while constructively challenging when needed.
• Establish sustainable processes before transitioning back to supplier management.
