Job summary

ReQuire Consultancy Ltd is working with an established Derby-based product-led business to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Manager. You will focus upstream: supplier selection, terms and performance, to strengthen the overall supply chain and commercial outcomes.

The role involves negotiating with suppliers, leading reviews, and developing new sources while managing risk and delivery performance. On-site at a site in Derby with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, strategic sourcing or supplier management.
• Proven ability to renegotiate supplier terms and deliver savings.
• Comfort negotiating and developing long-term supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop a stronger, more commercially focused supply chain with Operations, Production and Finance.
• Build productive relationships with key suppliers and lead supplier reviews.
• Drive improvements in delivery, quality and service with negotiations on pricing, terms and MOQs.
• Identify and develop new suppliers and secondary sources.
• Reduce supply risk and improve resilience across the supplier base.
• Review sourcing and stock strategies to balance availability and working capital.
• Use data to identify cost and performance improvements.
• Help implement systems, controls and reporting to support growth.
