Job summary

ReQuire Consultancy Ltd in Derby is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead upstream supplier management, negotiations and performance improvements. The role sits with a product-led business and offers the chance to shape supplier strategy and commercial terms.

You’ll own supplier development, work with Ops, Production and Finance, and drive cost and service improvements across the supply base. On-site role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, or supplier management.
• Proven ability to deliver tangible savings or improvements.
• Commercially confident with supplier negotiations.
• Capable of developing long-term supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop a more commercially focused supply chain with Ops, Production and Finance.
• Build relationships with key suppliers.
• Lead supplier reviews and drive delivery, quality and service improvements.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, MOQs, rebates.
• Identify and develop new suppliers and secondary sources.
• Reduce supply risk and improve supplier resilience.
• Review sourcing and stock strategies to balance availability and working capital.
• Introduce systems, controls and reporting to support growth.
