Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd in Skegness is seeking a proactive Supply Chain & Procurement Planner to manage purchasing, stock control, and production planning, while developing strong supplier relationships to keep operations efficient.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coordinate material availability, monitor costs, and drive continuous improvement through data and systems, ensuring timely deliveries and optimized inventory.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain coordination, inventory management or production planning.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Confident working with suppliers, negotiating costs and resolving supply issues.
• Understanding of stock control, forecasting and material requirements.
• Strong IT skills and experience using CRM or inventory management systems.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Supplier Management: Manage purchasing activities, negotiate with suppliers, monitor performance and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
• Stock & Inventory Control: Maintain optimum stock levels, monitor demand and ensure accurate inventory records while minimising shortages, waste and excess stock.
• Production Planning: Coordinate material availability against production schedules, adapting plans to meet changing business requirements.
• Supply Chain & Logistics: Oversee the movement of materials and finished goods, working closely with suppliers, warehouse teams and third‑party logistics providers.
• Systems & Data Management: Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), product codes and inventory information, ensuring business systems are used effectively.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor KPIs, identify operational challenges and implement practical improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across Production, Stores, Finance and other departments to keep operations running efficiently.
