Job summary

D R Newitt & Associates is recruiting a Supply Chain Coordinator for a growing food manufacturing business. You will play a key role in procurement, planning and supplier management to ensure the supply chain operates smoothly and supports business growth.

You will collaborate with production, sales, finance and technical teams, source new suppliers, negotiate terms, forecast demand and manage inventory while driving cost efficiencies and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in procurement or supply chain within manufacturing or food production.
• Commercially aware, highly organized, and capable of negotiating with suppliers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong focus on delivering cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

Responsibilities

• Procure raw materials, packaging and third-party services, source new suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and payment terms while maintaining supplier relations.
• Forecast demand, manage inventory and stock availability.
• Monitor markets and pricing trends to support purchasing decisions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with production, sales, finance and technical teams to align supply chain activities.
