AVD Appoint Ltd is recruiting a Supply Chain Manager for a Cornwall-based engineering organisation. The role is hybrid and focuses on heading purchasing, supervising two Buyers, and owning the purchasing function, including imports from Europe and the Far East.

You will drive quality control, root-cause analysis of non-conformances, and define departmental processes to support high-volume operations (around 20,000 SKUs). The company offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supply Chain/Purchasing Manager in engineering or manufacturing.
• Experience in importing and supplier management.
• Ability to lead a small purchasing team.
