Qualifications

• Essential: experience as Supply Chain Manager, Purchasing Manager or Procurement Manager.
• Essential: experience in Construction, Engineering or Manufacturing sectors.
• Experience dealing with importing.
• Desirable: MCIPS, forecasting, consumables experience.

Responsibilities

• Head up a purchasing department and manage 2 buyers.
• Hands-on purchasing responsibilities including day-to-day buying.
• Oversee imports from suppliers in Europe and the Far East; travel if needed.
• Quality control relating to non-conforming products; root cause analysis with suppliers.
