Job summary

TEiC is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our purchasing and procurement operations across North America, driving strategy and supplier performance in both office and field environments.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, construction industry experience, and a passion for building high-performing teams and processes to support outages, maintenance, and field services projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced business education is a plus.
• 5+ years in procurement or supply chain leadership with 3+ years people leadership.
• Construction/industrial services experience preferred.
• Proven record in supplier negotiations and relationship management.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop TEiC's purchasing organization, supporting both corporate and field procurement personnel.
• Provide strategic guidance on supplier and subcontractor selection to ensure quality, compliance, and operational success.
• Oversee supplier relationships, negotiations, and commercial agreements to achieve the best value for the business.
• Partner closely with Operations, Project Management, Finance, and Field Leadership to support project execution and customer commitments.
• Drive procurement process improvements, best practices, and operational efficiencies across the organization.
• Lead negotiations related to pricing, commercial terms, contract conditions, supplier performance, and claims resolution.
• Monitor supplier performance, market changes, and supply chain risks while implementing mitigation strategies.
• Support inventory and procurement planning to optimize cost, availability, and project readiness.
• Ensure procurement activities align with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements.
