Murphy is recruiting for a Supply Chain Lead to join the Energy Team on the SSE ASTI Framework. You will shape supply chain structure, oversee supplier performance and drive value across major projects.

You will embed ISO 44001, engage with suppliers and stakeholders, and lead cost-efficient, sustainable supply chains while ensuring governance and risk management across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain management for major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience influencing delivery outcomes at a business planning level, not day‑to‑day buying.
• Knowledge of ISO 44001 and supplier relationship management.

Responsabilités

• Shape supply chain structuring, capability planning and market engagement.
• Oversee supplier performance, relationships for continuous improvement.
• Embed ISO 44001 and promote collaborative behaviours with partners.
• Lead local SME engagement and Meet the Buyer events.
• Embed social value and carbon reduction in supplier frameworks.
• Monitor capacity, financial resilience, risk; provide leadership insights.
• Produce reports and KPI data for decision‑making.
• Visit sites and supplier premises to drive engagement.
