Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Crewe is recruiting for a Supply Chain role. The successful candidate will improve supplier relationships, ensure on-time delivery and manage inventories in a 37-hour week, 12‑month contract, with a regular day shift.

You will work on supplier performance, demand validation, and KPI reporting. Experience in inventory and materials management, strong negotiation abilities, and familiarity with SAP and Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Inventory management experience.
• Good understanding of materials management.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of database systems such as SAP.
• Good analytical skills.
• Competent on Excel at Intermediate level.
• Experience of LEAN principles (5's, Kaizen, CI, Visualisation Management).
• Supply chain experience is not essential but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring of supplier performance.
• Performance reviews with supply chain.
• Monitoring inventory.
• Validation of material demands.
• Expedite material deliveries to ensure OTD targets are met.
• Maintain an inventory database.
• Stock management in line with requirements of production.
• PO and invoicing negotiations.
• Reporting on KPI's.
• Materials control.
