Job summary

Wesco in the United Kingdom seeks a Manager - Supplier Relations to lead strategic supplier partnerships and drive value for both Wesco and suppliers. You will develop relationship plans, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across procurement and field teams.

You will partner with suppliers to pursue growth using planning tools, analytics, and marketing resources while managing budgets, terms, and compliance. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree required.
• 5 years supplier management experience.
• 5 years staff management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive business plans with management and suppliers.
• Coordinate with departments to align Wesco and supplier goals.
• Identify target accounts, markets and sales goals using planning tools.
• Track targets and communicate results to suppliers and Wesco.
• Support suppliers with training programs to grow sales of Wesco offerings.
• Manage supplier marketing and co-op funds.
• Coordinate meetings with executives and planning teams.
• Negotiate corporate supplier agreements and rebates.
• Forecast supplier volume rebates and ensure term compliance.
