Job summary

Moog seeks a proactive Supplier Lead to holistically manage designated suppliers and partner with internal Supply Chain teams across Moog sites. You will drive supplier performance, risk mitigation, and timely delivery, serving as the main liaison for supplier relationships and development initiatives.

Key duties include surveillance, performance evaluation, and leading corrective actions, with regular travel to supplier locations and occasional Moog sites outside the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Up to 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex supply chain challenges.
• Experience managing supplier performance and development.
• Ability to travel regularly to supplier locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage effective supplier relationships to meet business requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned suppliers and ensure collaboration.
• Conduct supplier surveillance and monitor performance.
• Evaluate supplier performance and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure accurate delivery information.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Expedite deliveries to support site operations when needed.
• Support supplier development, NPI, and regional supplier selection.
• Travel regularly to supplier sites within the region.
