Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Supplier Lead in the Tewkesbury area to manage key suppliers and drive performance across delivery, quality, and cost. Hybrid work arrangement supports collaboration with internal teams and suppliers across sites.

You will develop partnerships, monitor supplier performance, and lead corrective actions while enabling regional supplier development and NPI support. Travel to supplier sites will be regular and expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
• Up to 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex supply chain challenges.
• Working knowledge of procurement processes, contractual requirements, business systems, and supply chain operations.
• Experience managing supplier performance and supporting supplier development activities.
• Effective communication and relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including regular supplier visits within the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage effective supplier relationships to achieve business requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers, ensuring collaboration and communication.
• Conduct surveillance and monitoring activities for assigned suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Manage purchase orders to ensure current and accurate delivery information.
• Drive timely closure of root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Expedite supplier deliveries to support site operational requirements.
• Lead problem-solving activities to resolve issues impacting supplier relationships.
• Support and, when appropriate, lead supplier recovery and performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide regional support for supplier selection, supplier development, and NPI activities.
• Leverage regional and supplier knowledge to support supply chain planning.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and lead time.
