Job summary

National Energy System Operator (NESO) is seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Lead to coordinate engagement across electricity, gas and hydrogen planning in Great Britain. You’ll support the CSNP delivery, build relationships with diverse stakeholders and ensure insight-led decision making through clear communication and cross-team collaboration.

The role sits within the SEP stakeholder engagement team, offering flexibility across programmes while upholding high standards of delivery and influence

Qualifications

• Analyse stakeholder feedback and identify themes, risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of stakeholder engagement activities aligned to programme priorities.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted contact.
• Support development and implementation of engagement plans, strategies and approaches.
• Ensure engagement activity is delivered in a consistent, insight-led manner.
• Represent NESO at meetings, workshops, forums and events.
• Support the development of stakeholder-facing materials and briefing packs.
