Job summary

Morgan Hunt are partnering with a public sector organisation to appoint a Sourcing Manager to the procurement team in Cambridge. This is a full-time, permanent role focused on strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and delivering value through robust contracts.

You will lead RFx activities, advise stakeholders on frameworks, manage supplier performance and ensure compliance, sustainability and risk management under the Procurement Act 2023.

Qualifications

• Public sector procurement experience required.
• Experience leading RFx and procurement projects.
• Knowledge of Procurement Act 2023 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing across spend categories.
• Manage high-value RFx and procurement projects.
• Develop procurement strategies aligned to objectives.
• Advise stakeholders on suppliers, frameworks and risk.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure value and strong contracts.
• Manage supplier performance, due diligence and contractual risk.
• Ensure compliance, sustainability and continuous improvement.
