Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to shape sourcing strategies for major bids and programmes. You will identify capable suppliers, lead sourcing activities, manage commercial risk, and deliver value-driven solutions that support contract wins and programme delivery.

This full-time, 37-hour role offers hybrid working with regular office attendance and travel to Bristol and other sites across the UK.

Qualifications

• Procurement/strategic sourcing experience required.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing and supply chain strategies for bids and programmes.
• Lead supplier selection, tendering, negotiations, and contract implementation.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships to drive performance and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with procurement, commercial, engineering and project teams to deliver supply chain solutions.
• This full-time role is 37 hours per week with hybrid pattern and office attendance as needed.
