Job summary

Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a Bid Procurement Manager to drive supplier strategy across defence bids. You will engage with Business Development, Programme and Finance teams to shape competitive, deliverable supply chain solutions and ensure alignment with current and future delivery needs.

This role requires strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and contract knowledge to win new business while maintaining policy compliance in fast-paced, mission-focused programmes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting bids or proposal activity in defence or regulated environments.
• Strong track record of building and managing supplier relationships.
• Demonstrable negotiation experience focusing on commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a network of suppliers aligned to current and future needs.
• Partner with Business Development to shape supply chain strategy across bids.
• Identify, engage and down-select suppliers ensuring capability and value.
• Act as central contact for supplier engagement and communication.
• Support contracts development in line with policy and governance.
• Contribute to bid planning, reporting and governance timelines.
• Promote social value and responsible sourcing in the supply chain.
