The successful candidate in Bristol will procure goods and services for internal customers, working with project delivery teams to drive operational excellence and value through effective supplier management.

You will lead negotiations, place orders, track deliveries, and support supplier audits, ensuring compliance with procedures. The role requires cross-functional teamwork with Project Management, Engineering and Production, and may involve moving goods overseas. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• CIPS qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in procurement for manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
• Proficient with ERP systems and data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Support supplier evaluation and development.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and handle procurement requests.
• Negotiate prices, quantities, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Place purchase orders per company procedures.
• Arrange transport and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Support supplier audits as part of approval and re-accreditation.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering and Production.
• Assist movement of goods overseas and ensure documentation.
