Job description

As a Strategic Sourcing Buyer at Mars, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of capital investment projects within your geographical scope, aligning with capital strategies and processes. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver value and ensure the timely achievement of business goals.

Your duties include understanding key market and regional drivers, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, obtaining approvals, forecasting, and reporting savings opportunities.

What are we looking for?

Experience in indirect procurement and/or engineering is required.

You should have a passion for building strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders both domestically and internationally.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand sourcing needs for upcoming capital projects.
• Execute contracting and ordering of goods and services following global and regional sourcing strategies.
• Deliver value through savings, innovation, sustainability, speed, and simplification, and report opportunities in Sievo.
• Work with other Capital Buyers to identify synergies and sourcing improvements.
• Support sites in the UK and Hungary.
