Job Description

As a Strategic Sourcing Buyer at Mars, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of capital investment projects within your geographical scope, aligning with capital strategies and processes. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver value to Mars and ensure the timely achievement of business goals.

Your duties include understanding key market and regional drivers, managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations and approvals, forecasting, and capturing savings opportunities. You will focus on areas such as cost, cash, quality, and service improvements.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in indirect procurement, indirect buying, and/or engineering.
• A passion for developing strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders both domestically and internationally.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand sourcing needs for upcoming capital projects.
• Execute contracting and ordering of goods and services according to global and regional sourcing strategies and processes.
• Deliver value through savings, cash flow improvements, innovation, sustainability, speed to market, and simplification, reporting opportunities in Sievo.
• Work with other Capital Buyers to identify synergies and sourcing improvements.
• Support sites in the UK and Hungary.
