Job description

As a Strategic Sourcing Buyer at Mars, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of capital investment projects within your geographical scope, aligning with capital strategies and processes. Your role involves partnering with stakeholders to deliver value and ensure timely achievement of business goals.

This includes understanding key market and regional drivers, managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, obtaining approvals, forecasting, and capturing savings opportunities in areas such as cost, cash, quality, and service.

What are we looking for?

Experience in indirect procurement and/or engineering is required.

You should have a passion for developing strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders both domestically and internationally.

Key responsibilities:

• Engage with engineering teams to understand sourcing needs for upcoming capital projects.
• Execute contracting and ordering of goods and services in line with sourcing strategies and processes.
• Deliver value through savings, innovation, sustainability, speed, and simplification, reporting opportunities in Sievo.
• Collaborate with other Capital Buyers to identify synergies and improvements.
• Support sites in the UK and Hungary.
