Position: Strategic Sourcing Buyer at Mars

As a Strategic Sourcing Buyer at Mars, you will support the execution of capital investment projects within your geographical scope, aligning with capital strategies and processes. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver value and ensure timely achievement of business goals.

Your responsibilities include understanding key market and regional drivers, managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, obtaining contract approvals, forecasting, and reporting savings opportunities. You will focus on areas such as cost, cash, quality, and service improvements.

What are we looking for?

Experience in indirect procurement and/or engineering is preferred. You should have a passion for building strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders, both domestically and internationally.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand sourcing needs for upcoming capital projects.
• Execute contracting and ordering of goods and services according to sourcing strategies and processes.
• Deliver value through savings, innovation, sustainability, speed, and simplification, reporting opportunities in Sievo.
• Work with other Capital Buyers to identify synergies and sourcing improvements.
• Support sites in the UK and Hungary.
