Job Description:

As a Strategic Sourcing Buyer at Mars, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of capital investment projects within your geographical scope, aligned with capital strategies and processes. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver value to Mars and ensure the timely achievement of business goals.

Your duties include understanding key market and regional drivers, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, obtaining approvals, forecasting, and reporting savings opportunities. You will focus on areas such as cost, cash, quality, and service improvements.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in indirect procurement, indirect buying, or engineering.

• A passion for building strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders both domestically and internationally.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand sourcing needs for capital projects.

• Execute contracting and procurement of goods and services following global and regional sourcing strategies and processes.

• Deliver value through savings, cash flow improvements, innovation, sustainability, speed, and simplification, reporting opportunities in Sievo.

• Work with other Capital Buyers to identify synergies and sourcing improvements.

• Support sites in the UK and Hungary.
