Travelers Europe is seeking an SME Underwriter to own the end-to-end trading cycle from submissions to binds, applying sharp risk analysis to achieve targets. You will negotiate with brokers to grow a book of business and identify cross-selling opportunities while maintaining profitability across products.

In this hybrid role, you’ll work three days in the office and two at home, collaborating with teams across the enterprise and leveraging E-Trade platforms to quote and bind risk efficiently.

Qualifikationen

• UK: A-Levels or equivalent qualification.
• Experience underwriting, product knowledge, financial analysis, or risk assessment.
• Strong negotiation and broker relationship skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage profitability, growth and retention for an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate risks to maximise profitability, including MTAs.
• Proactively manage portfolio and target new business and retention.
• Identify risk characteristics and take corrective action with management.
• Capture opportunities to write additional lines of business using product knowledge.
• Utilise technology platforms to quote and bind E-Trade risk efficiently.
• Support underwriting reviews and coordinate with internal partners.
