Job summary

Trial Balance in Paignton is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to own the finance function and provide strategic leadership. Reporting to the CEO, you will manage monthly accounts, cash flow, budgeting and reporting while guiding improvements with the CFO advisory support.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, strong analytical skills and excellent communication. A dynamic, growth-oriented environment with equity incentives awaits the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Must be fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong analytical approach and ability to communicate financial performance clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting and budgeting across the business.
• Produce accurate financial reports by deadlines and streamline finance systems.
• Oversee purchase order system and manage bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable.
• Ensure VAT and payroll compliance and support the annual external audit.
• Collaborate with CEO and operations to identify improvements and communicate results.
• Engage with the board and investors, providing strategic financial leadership.
