Job summary

Trial Balance in Newquay is seeking a Finance Manager for a full-time, permanent role offering circa £50k. You will lead monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasting, P&L and balance sheet reporting, and oversee payroll and VAT activity.

You will manage a small finance team, reporting to the directors and working with senior management to drive financial performance in a high-standard business environment.

Qualifications

• Ideally hold a recognised professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
• Candidates with a full AAT qualification or who are qualified by experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Preparing cashflow forecasts and reports
• Producing profit and loss and balance sheet reports
• Managing aged debtors
• Overseeing weekly and monthly payroll
• Completing VAT reporting
• Ensuring the smooth running of the end-to-end finance function
• Managing and developing a small finance team

Education

ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA / AAT or qualified by experience
