Job summary

National Highways is recruiting a Senior Technical Architect to embed security across IT, OT and digital services within the Enterprise Security Architecture team. You will shape secure architectures, advise on risk, and support design decisions that deliver resilient, compliant digital solutions for the transport network.

Hybrid role with two days in the office; SC clearance is required or willing to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in security architecture across IT, OT and business services.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and IEC 62443 frameworks.
• Experience designing secure Cloud and IT architectures with IAM, encryption and segmentation.
• Proven ability in risk assessment, threat modelling and vulnerability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic security architecture advice across IT, OT and business services.
• Maintain secure architecture design, risk assessments and controls.
• Guide cloud and OT security, including IAM, patching and incident response.
• Drive enterprise security frameworks, policies and documentation.
• Support secure lifecycle management and governance across services.
