Job summary

Weetwood Primary School in Leeds is seeking an experienced School Business Manager to join the School Office and Leadership Team. The role will shape the strategic, financial and operational direction of the school and requires a highly organised, proactive leader focused on excellence and safeguarding.

Qualifications

Experience in school business management or similar leadership role.
Skilled in financial planning, budgeting and compliance.
Knowledge of health and safety, safeguarding and premises management.
Excellent communicator in a collaborative leadership environment.
Ability to liaise effectively with LEA/Council partners and Governors.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic financial leadership ensuring compliance, efficiency and sustainability.
Oversee premises, site management, maintenance and health & safety compliance.
Lead governance and compliance through liaison with LEA/Council partners.
Provide administrative oversight supporting SLT and Governors.
Ensure safeguarding and OFSTED readiness across financial and operational areas.
