Job summary

Bloomberg in London is seeking a Sales Solutions Engineer for the BQuant platform within Financial Solutions. You will consult with clients to develop and implement investment strategies, leveraging BQuant and Bloomberg data to improve workflows and drive revenue.

You will work closely with Sales and product teams to prototype, implement and adopt new solutions across clients. The role emphasizes client-facing consulting, Python-based analytics, and strong English communication skills, with a

Qualifications

2+ years experience in financial services or fintech.
2+ years sales experience.
Experience developing financial models using Python (BQNT experience a plus).
Strategic mindset with commercial acumen for evaluating business opportunities.
Confident with highly articulate and consultative client interactions.
Strong presentation and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Consult with Bloomberg clients to develop and implement investment strategies using BQuant.
Collaborate with Sales to build BQuant solutions to increase revenue opportunities.
Leverage sales experience to build strong internal and client relationships for pre-sales engagements.
Provide assistance on new strategies or migration projects using BQuant.
Work with Product Development and Software Engineering to drive platform improvements.
