Job summary

Bloomberg seeks a Product Manager - Data User Experience for BQuant in London. You will define and drive the vision, strategy, and execution of the core data and analytics experience within BQuant, shaping how users discover, access, understand, and work with data.

You will collaborate with engineering, quants, and other product managers to enable a wide range of use cases from research to production-grade applications, while ensuring data governance and security across the platform.

Qualifications

• Proven ability (5 yrs+) to define and execute product strategy for platform products.
• Expert prioritization skills balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business impact.
• Experience delivering complex products from concept through execution.

Responsibilities

• Define the Data User Experience for BQuant.
• Own the roadmap and backlog with inputs from customers and strategy.
• Balance short-term improvements with long-term platform scalability.
• Build a scalable data analytics platform with easy integration of data.
• Define and evolve API abstractions for financial and alternative datasets.
• Ensure data provisioning with SLAs, reliability and performance.
• Enable support for batch and streaming data workflows.
• Drive data modelling, access, entitlements, security and governance.
