Job summary
Bloomberg is seeking an experienced pre-sales engineer in London to drive risk analytics solutions for asset managers and institutional clients. You will understand risk workflows, articulate complex concepts to both quantitative analysts and executives, and deliver compelling demonstrations across Bloomberg’s risk products.
The role collaborates with Sales, Enterprise Technology and Product to tailor proposals and drive successful engagements.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of buy-side risk and middle-office requirements.
- Knowledge of PORT and MARS solutions or equivalent.
- 4+ years in a client-facing role such as pre-sales or solutions architect.
- Knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks and regulatory requirements (UCITS, AIFMD, Solvency II, IORP II).
- Ability to explain complex financial/technical concepts to practitioners and senior decision-makers.
- Experience with derivatives and front-to-back lifecycle in buy-side contexts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-sales presentations and technical product demonstrations.
- Support RFPs and POCs to win opportunities.
- Maintain in-depth market knowledge of buy-side risk trends.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Legal and Compliance on tailored solutions.
- Coordinate with Implementations and Technology on solution design and TOMs.
